Tweets from the TFNation convention (going right now) show a presentation from Chris McFeely and Jim Sorenson of what the first draft of The Transformers: The Movie would have been like. There are characters we've never seen before like Mentlar, Rusty, Ellen, and Blaze, and different designs for Kup and Ultra Magnus. There are also huge revelations that were changed, like how the Junkions built Unicron originally. Very wild information. I've posted some of the images below.
It was all presented a couple of hours ago, so it's all still new to all of us.
